Welcome to Wame X (“we,” “our,” or “us”). Wame X is a notification archive application for Android that captures and stores incoming WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business notifications locally on your device.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information Wame X processes, how it is used, how it is stored, and how advertising functionality works.
Key Principle: Your captured WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business notification data is designed to remain on your device. Wame X does not upload your captured messages, conversations, or media to our servers.
Information We Collect
Wame X processes information locally on your device to provide its notification archive functionality.
2.1 Notification Content
When you grant Notification Access permission, Wame X can process incoming notifications from WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business.
- Sender Name — The name of the person or group that sent the message.
- Message Body — The text content of the notification.
- Message Timestamp — The time the message was sent.
- Capture Timestamp — The time Wame X archived the notification.
- Conversation Identifier — An identifier used to organize messages by conversation.
- Display Name — The name displayed for the conversation.
- Group Status — Whether the conversation is a group chat.
- Message Type — The category of message.
- Message Status — The capture state of the message.
2.2 Media Files
If media capture functionality is enabled, Wame X may process media attachments available through supported notifications and store them locally on your device.
2.3 Service Diagnostic Events
Wame X may maintain internal service lifecycle information for diagnostic purposes. These records are intended to remain locally on-device.
2.4 User Preferences
- Applications selected for monitoring.
- Data retention preferences.
- Whether app lock is enabled.

- Wi-Fi-only media preferences, where applicable.

2.5 Information We Do Not Collect for Our Own Servers
Wame X does not collect your WhatsApp message history, notification content, conversations, or media files on our own servers.
We do not use your message content for advertising, profiling, marketing, or analytics.

Supported captured media is stored within the application’s local storage environment.
4.4 Backup Security
If Wame X provides an encrypted backup feature, exported backups are protected according to the application’s implemented encryption process.
4.5 App Lock
Wame X may support biometric or device authentication through Android’s security APIs. Wame X does not directly access or store your biometric information.

Internet access is used to load and display advertisements inside Wame X.
Message Privacy
Your captured WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business messages are not uploaded to our servers for advertising.
Advertising Information
The advertising provider may process device, advertising, network, or interaction information required to serve advertisements.
Third-Party Policies
Advertising providers process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable requirements.
Wame X does not intentionally send your captured WhatsApp messages, conversation history, or archived media to advertising providers.

Wame X requests Android permissions and system access where necessary to provide its features.

Data Retention & Deletion
8.1 Retention Period
Wame X may provide settings that allow you to control how long captured data remains stored on your device.
8.2 Manual Deletion
You can delete individual messages or conversations through the application where these controls are provided.
8.3 Delete All Data
Where available, Wame X provides an option to delete captured data from the application.
8.4 Uninstallation
Uninstalling Wame X generally removes its application data according to Android’s standard application data management.
Children’s Privacy
Wame X is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 on our own servers.
Captured notification content is processed locally on the user’s device.
Your Rights & Control
Because captured notification data is primarily stored locally on your device, you have direct control over that data through the application’s available controls.

View captured information directly inside Wame X.
Search
Search your locally archived messages.
Export
Export your data where an export feature is provided.
Delete
Delete captured messages or other locally stored application data.
You may also revoke Notification Access at any time through Android System Settings.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Wame X, its features, advertising services, applicable requirements, or the way information is handled.
If we make material changes, we will update the Last Updated date at the top of this document.
